Gross Regional Domestic Product of Kaimana Regency by Industrial Origin 2014-2018

The calculation of the national balance statistics used here follows the manual published by the United Nations known as the "National Balance System". However, the application of the national balance sheet statistics has been adjusted to the socio-economic conditions of Indonesia. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at the regional (district) level describes the ability of a region to create output (added value) at a given time. GRDP from the business side is the sum of all gross value added components that can be created by the business field for various production activities. GRDP presentation according to business field is detailed according to the total added value of all business fields including Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries categories; Mining and excavation; Processing industry; Electricity and Gas Procurement; Water Supply, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling; Construction; Wholesale and retail trade, car and motorcycle repair; Transportation and Warehousing; Provision of Accommodation and Food and Drink; Information and Communication; Financial Services and Insurance; Real estate; Company Services; Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security; Educational Services; Health Services and Social Activities; and other services. Gross Regional Domestic Product and its aggregate are presented in 2 (two) valuation versions, namely on the basis of "current prices" and on the basis of "constant prices". Referred to as the prevailing price because all aggregates are valued using current prices, while the constant prices are based on the price of a certain base year. In this publication the 2010 price is used as the basis for valuation.The economic structure of some of the Kaimana communities did not shift during the period 2014 - 2018. The largest contribution in 2018 was generated by the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries category and then the Government Administration, Defense and Social Security categories, the third largest category namely the Construction category. Wholesale and Retail Trade Categories; Car and Motorcycle Repair; Transportation and Warehousing; and the Manufacturing Industry category also has a large enough contribution while the role of other categories is below five percent. Kaimana Regency Economic Growth reached 5.86 percent in 2018, with GRDP per capita reaching 44.29 Million Rupiah in the same year.
